Terms of Service
Last updated 6 September 2026
Draft pending legal review. This document has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Highlighted values must be completed and the whole text checked against the law of the governing jurisdiction before Medharu accepts paying customers.
These terms govern your use of Medharu, an exam preparation service operated by Medharu Technologies Ltd. of [registered address] (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Who may use Medharu
You must be at least [minimum age] years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be able to form a binding contract. One account is for one person. Do not share your login credentials.
2. Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly at [support email] if you believe someone else has gained access to it. Give us accurate registration details and keep them current.
3. Trials, subscriptions and billing
- New accounts begin on a free trial lasting seven days. When it ends, access to study features requires a paid subscription. Your work is retained — see section 8.
- The trial takes no payment details, so nothing is charged when it ends — you choose whether to subscribe. We charge the payment method on file at the start of each period.
- Prices are shown before you subscribe. We may change prices, but not for a period you have already paid for, and we will give you at least [notice period] notice before a change affects you.
- Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not receive or store your full card or mobile wallet credentials.
4. Cancelling and refunds
You may cancel at any time from your profile. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.
Refunds: [state your refund policy — for example, a full refund if requested within N days of a charge, provided usage has not exceeded some threshold]. Statutory cancellation rights in your country apply regardless of anything stated here.
5. What we provide, and what we do not promise
Medharu provides practice questions, explanations, adaptive study plans, mock exams and AI-assisted tutoring and essay feedback.
- Score estimates are estimates. Diagnostic baselines, projections and mock results are produced by our own statistical model from your answers here. They are not official scores, are not produced or endorsed by the organisations that administer the GMAT or GRE, and do not guarantee any result on a real test.
- AI output can be wrong. Tutor responses and essay feedback are generated by automated systems and may contain errors. Treat them as study aids, not authority.
- We do not guarantee admission or a score improvement.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape, republish or resell our questions, explanations or other content;
- share your account, or use one account for several people;
- attempt to access other users’ data, or to disrupt or probe the service;
- use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- use automated tools to extract content at scale.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Where the breach is not serious we will normally contact you first.
7. Content and intellectual property
The questions, explanations, lessons and software are owned by us or our licensors, and are licensed to you for personal study only. Anything you write — essays, notes, answers — remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to store it, show it back to you, and process it to provide the service, including sending essay text to our AI provider for grading.
If you believe material on Medharu infringes your copyright, contact [copyright contact] with details and we will investigate.
8. Ending your access
You may delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete or anonymise your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. If your subscription lapses, your study history is retained for [retention period] so you can resume by resubscribing; after that it may be deleted.
9. Liability
Medharu is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability can be limited, ours is capped at the amount you paid us in the [period, e.g. twelve months] before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Medharu afterwards means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of [governing jurisdiction], and the courts of [courts] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
